WHAT TO EAT & WHERE TO DRINK…
wildkiwi distillery
The giant copper still at WildKiwi looks as amazing as the whiskey it produces.
Making wild whisky is what WildKiwi do best! They take earthy Tararua water and turning it in to a whisky that you can’t help but know comes from New Zealand. It gets its Kiwi edge from the West Coast peat used to smoke Canterbury grain (and a few other magic touches) before resting, for years, in charred red wine barrels.
Their bar is absolutely stunning with over 100 whiskies from around the world ready at be tried.
panhead custom ales
The first brewery to set it’s sights on Brewtown!
Panhead’s Bar and Tasting room is the brewery’s own beer and food shrine featuring 6 taps, a 600L pilot brewery and the panhead custom kitchen.
There are crowd favourites on offer fresh from the brewery as well as limited releases brewed in vats adorning the tasting room back wall.
get fixed bicyle cafe
If you love food, and you love bicycles then you will love Get Fixed.
Part cafe, part bicycle workshop they service, repair and convert existing bikes into electric bikes.
These guys have a real passion for their community, sourcing produce from Mangaroa Farms and even naming their bagels, burgers and salads after local bicycle trails. The ‘Hutt River’ Cheese burger sounds yum!
You’ll find locally brewed Little City Kombucha and Abandoned beer on top - did we mention they’re fully licenced?
fermented bar & eatery
Did someone say all you can eat Brunch on Sundays?!
Fermented Brewery, bar and eatery proudly offer a fusion of Asian, Kiwi and South African flavours, complimented of course by great craft beers from their own micro-brewery and their mates at Kereru, Choice Bros. and Abandoned brewery. They also have the guys from 3 wise birds cidery who provide us with no less than 5 different local craft ciders 1 of which is always on tap.
They even do all you can eat brunch on Sundays from 9am-12pm!
wafflebox
Treat yourself to a delicious treat from WaffleBox!
We don’t think we need to do much convincing here so let us just describe one of the waffles from the WaffleBox menu- to you.
Belgian waffles topped with double chocolate ganache, chocolate mousse and spiced rum dark chocolate sauce.
Sounds bloody tasty, right? There are lots of topping options - they even cater to dairy and gluten free diets!
brewtown farmers market
Our favourite market in Wellington!
There is no better way to spend a Sunday morning than wondering around the stalls, picking up fresh produce, a steaming hot coffee, a bite from the food trucks and maybe even a wee knick-knack. The best markets around!
Every Sunday, 8am - 2pm! Rain or shine.
Daytona is Wellington’s biggest entertainment centre with an indoor Go-Kart track, Ice Skating rink, a 5-lane Ten Pin Bowling alley, a 600sqm Trampoline Park, and a large indoor Paintball field!
