Brewtown
Brewtown is gearing up for an unforgettable day of celebration with the Bogan Day Out on Saturday 8 March 2025. It’s an action-packed festival dedicated to all things Bogan. This exciting event will feature live tribute bands, including Stoned Templar Pilots, Black Knight, and Squealer, rocking the stage all day long.
Show off your Bogan pride with our Mullet Competition and Best Dressed Bogan contest. Dive into the market to stock up on everything from jeans, jackets, and band tees to grill gear, chilli sauces, and more. The Brewtown BBQ Comp will see the country’s best BBQ teams battling it out, while expert grill masters share tips and tricks at the demo stage.

An amazing museum owned by husband and wife duo Dre and Ludo. It is FULL of rich tattoo history - ranging all the way from WWII artefacts, to traditional Uhi Ta Moko tools. Pieces aiming to pay their respects to the roots of this culture, what it used to be and how it became what it is today.

Bodgies to Bogans

Bodgies to Bogans tells the story of Bodgies (teenagers in the 1950s) to the Bogans of the 1980s. Whether you were listening to rock and roll, riding motorcycles and drinking milkshakes at milk bars in the 1950s, or growing a mullet and thrashing out the leathers to heavy metal in the 1980s, this exhibition explores what it meant to be a teenager in Aotearoa.
